School Competitions

International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS) is developed by Educational Assessment Australia (EAA). Educational Assessment Australia (EAA) is an education group of UNSW Global Pty Limited, a not-for-profit provider of education, training and consulting services and a wholly owned enterprise of the University of New South Wales (UNSW). ICAS are conducted annually in Australia and over 20 countries globally. For more information on EAA, click here

In India, these tests are offered as the International Assessment of Indian Schools (IAIS) through our partners, Macmillan India. Today there are about 350,000 students appearing for the test each year. In 2007, a scholarship program titled the ‘High Achiever Award’ was instituted. The first recipient of this award, Ms. Karthika Mohan began her Bachelor of Engineering in 2008 and has even been on the Dean’s Honour List at UNSW!
