UNSW is pursuing closer ties with India, following a visit from India’s science and technology minister. Union Minister, Mr. Kapil Sibal, has led a high level delegation to the Kensington campus to meet with Vice Chancellor Fred Hilmer and other University dignitaries to discuss potential collaborations.

Indian students enrolling at the University of NSW in Sydney will be in prestigious company, following the appointment of 17 prominent Indian scientists to new International Visiting Research Fellowships at UNSW.
In the most ambitious research tie-up to date between India and an Australian university, the Fellowships will facilitate regional collaboration in science, engineering and medicine.
